Tommy Schutt has been hearing from Notre Dame for awhile and now the Irish have become a real option after making a verbal offer on Tuesday. The junior defensive tackle from Glen Ellyn, Ill., and Glenbard West adds Notre Dame to a fast growing offer list that includes several regional programs he intends to visit once the season comes to a close.
