Alabama linebacker commitment Reggie Ragland was named the Class 6A Lineman of the Year by the Alabama Sports Writers Association on Wednesday.



As a senior at Bob Jones High School, Ragland finished with 97 tackles, 22 for a loss, six sacks and 25 quarterback hurries. He led the Patriots to 36 wins in four-year career.



The Rivals100 star competed in the Under Armour All-America Game and the Alabama-Mississippi All-Star Game since his season came to an end.
