Louisville, KY - The Louisville football team defeated Southern Miss 25-23 Saturday in Papa John's Cardinal Stadium. Trent Guy's 64-yard kick off return with just two minutes left to play setup kicker Ryan Payne's 32-yard field goal to seal the Cards' win. The kick gave Louisville the go-ahead score after trailing by nine points at the half. In beating the school's long-time rival, the Cards improved to 2-3 on the season and snapped a three-game losing streak.
