2012 ATH Agholor takes process in stride
Nelson Agholor was always curious what Florida Gators football coach Urban Meyer would be like in person. When the 2012 athlete from Tampa (Fla.) Berkeley Prep met Meyer earlier this summer, he was pleasantly surprised
"He was a good guy," Agholor said. "To be honest, when you think of someone like that, you wonder what that person will be like with all that success. But he's a humble, nice guy. He shared stories with me about his family. It wasn't one of those big-time meetings. It was to get to know each other. Myself and (Meyer) hadn't touched based before that."
The Gators are one of several big-name programs that already have offered the 6-foot-1, 175-pounder, who plays several positions for the Buccaneers, including receiver and defensive back. To date, Georgia, Notre Dame, Southern California, South Florida and UCLA also have pulled the trigger.
