Neal Ready to Chase a State Title

At the time of Durron Neal's decision to commit to Oklahoma there were several things that were almost unparalleled in the class of 2012; his excitement over his decision, Sooner fans surprise at his commitment, and the rumors from those around the St. Louis area that said the decision wouldn't stick. The 6-foot-1, 195-pound prospect with 4.4-second speed in the 40-yard dash has seen over two months pass since his pledge to become a Sooner and still can't escape the chatter of a 'wandering eye'.

However Neal recently took his first trip to Norman since the time of his commitment, and this time he was joined by St. Louis (Mo.) Desmet teammate Andy Bauer, a young offensive lineman who already holds offers from nearby Missouri as well as Miami (FL).

While Bauer was getting his first look Neal said Norman is already starting to feel familiar to him.

"The visit went real good," Neal said. "It wasn't anything different, it was just going back down there, it was just as good as I remembered it."
