Oregon in duel over Foster

Oregon hosted an all star group of recruits over the weekend including Rivals' 100 occupants Ellis McCarthy, Shaq Thompson and D.J. Foster. The Ducks have already secured two commitments from the weekend in Bryce Cottrell and former Washington commit Jeremy Castro and are hoping that they can get more in the coming weeks.

One strong possibility is Foster, a four-star Athlete from Scottsdale, AZ. Duck Sports Authority recently spoke with Foster about his visit and the possibility of him becoming a Duck.

"It was great," said Foster. "Definitely an 8 or a 9. I really have no complaints besides the weather. Everything was good though. I had a good time."

The 5-foot-11, 190 pounder flew out of Arizona headed to Oregon Saturday morning to watch his top two teams play each other for possibly more than just a win. Foster has had ASU and Oregon as his leaders for quite some time now and his decision is drawing close. He took DSA through his visit and a couple of observations.
