Hancock questionable for SHU game

Louisville coach Rick Pitino was midway through his pregame press conference for the Seton Hall game when he dropped the biggest news of the day - starting forward Luke Hancock may not play Saturday.

Pitino said Hancock's injury was the worst shoulder injury trainer Fred Hina had seen. Hina was a trainer with the New York Mets prior to coming to Louisville.

"He tore everything in his shoulder," Pitino said. "... There are times you see when he blocks someone out, but he can't get the rebound because he can't get his arm up fast enough."

Pitino explained that while both Hancock and Wayne Blackshear had shoulder surgeries, Blackshear's shoulders aren't nearly as bad off as Hancock's shoulder.

"I'm not sure we will see Hancock at 100 percent this season," Pitino said. "We'll see Wayne at 100 percent."
