Signed: De'Eric Culver signs with Louisville

It's National Signing Day at CardinalSports.com. As each new recruit signs their paperwork and officially becomes a Cardinal, we will post their recruiting profile. Check out the newest Cardinal.

De'Eric Culver
DB - 6-0, 180 - 3 stars, 5.7 RR
Tallahassee, Fla. (Godby)
Committed: 5/3/13

Rated the star of the class by rivals.com, Culver is a Florida Top 100 recruit and the No. 40 cornerback in the country. A high three-star prospect (5.7 is the highest Rivals Rating before a fourth star is awarded), Culver picked Louisville over offers from South Carolina, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Minnesota, Kentucky, California and others. With a 4.54 40-yard dash and a 35-inch vertical leap, Culver has the athleticism to play cornerback at the collegiate level. After the coaching change he visited Louisville and Cal but is expected to sign with Louisville Wednesday morning.

Culver on visiting Louisville: ""It went really good. I learned a lot. I met all of the coaches and they explained to me everything that is going on. It was really nice. ... Nothing really changed, it's still the same atmosphere - still a winning atmosphere. They just want to win. I liked all of those coaches. I shared my bond with Kolby Smith, Terrell Buckley and Lamar Thomas."
