The team reports for fall camp on Monday with players going through first meetings, weigh ins and gear distribution.

The first workout begins for the newcomers at 8:50 a.m. Petrino split the newcomers and the veterans for the first few practices so that the newcomers could get specialized instruction.

The veterans take the field just after 4 p.m. Tuesday afternoon. Both practices are open to the public.

Louisville Football Media Day is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 9 at 8:15 a.m. beginning with a Bobby Petrino press conference. Other details will be announced on Monday.

Louisville football Fan Day will be held on Aug. 16, indoors at Cardinal Arena and adjacent gymnasium from 3-5 p.m. The annually free event gives fans a unique opportunity to interact with their favorite players and coaches from the football program and other fall sports. 5,000 Autograph cards will be distributed to fans in attendance, and there will continue to be a one item per person limit for autographing.

This year will also feature the men's soccer, volleyball, and field hockey programs. Women's soccer is on the road for exhibition match. Attendees must RSVP by Aug. 14 at www.GoCards.com/FanDay.

In addition to the UofL players and head coaches signing autographs, selected football players, Ladybirds, and Louie the Mascot will solely take pictures with fans in a designated location in Cardinal Arena. Inflatables for kids, interactive sport activity stations, face painting and photo booths will also be set up for fans.

Free parking will be available in the Floyd Street Garage and around campus. The event concludes precisely at 5 p.m. so that student-athletes and coaches can proceed to their evening schedule.
