Cardinal Caravan dates and times announced

University of Louisville coaches, student-athletes, and athletic staff members will make five regional stops on the "Cardinal Caravan" in June to interact with UofL fans across the region.

The three-day tour begins with a pair of stops on June 4, beginning with an appearance at Kreso's Restaurant in Bardstown, Ky., at 11:45 a.m. UofL head men's basketball coach Rick Pitino, a member of this year's Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame class, and Vice President/Director of Athletics Tom Jurich highlight the members in attendance when the Caravan make its largest stop that night on The River Walk at Captain's Quarters at 6:30 p.m.

On June 5, the caravan also will make two appearances, beginning with a midday stop in downtown Bowling Green at the Southern Kentucky Performing Arts Center at 11:45 a.m., and then traveling to Lexington for a 5:30 p.m. stop at Grand Reserve.

The tour concludes with a 6 p.m. appearance at the Shelbyville Fairgrounds.

"This outreach is an energetic opportunity for our head coaches to hit the road and interact with the loyal Cardinal supporters," Brent Seebohm, Associate Athletic Director for External Relations said. "Our entire university and athletic programs have earned incredible national accolades this year, and we are enthused to make special stops to celebrate the success with our outstanding fans. We enjoy sharing our trajectory and gratitude across the Commonwealth."

The caravan includes season tickets availability, raffle giveaways, a photo station with championship backdrops, along with appearances by the UofL cheerleaders, Ladybirds, and mascot Louie. Drinks and food will be available for purchase at each of the locations.
