Good news and bad news for Louisville women

There's good news and bad news for the No. 4 ranked Louisville Cardinals women's basketball team.
The bad news?

Louisville (30-4) missed out on a No. 1 seed.
They also missed out on a 2 seed.
The 3 seed Cardinals are also shipped to Iowa City, Iowa, where they will likely play No. 6 seed Iowa in the second round.
The good news?
Louisville doesn't have No. 1 Connecticut in their bracket. UConn is responsible for three of Louisville's four losses.
The Cardinals are seeded No. 3 in the Louisville Regional and will play 14-seed Idaho in their first round game. With a win over Idaho, Louisville will face the winner of 6-seed Iowa With wins there, the Cardinals will return to Louisville for the third and fourth rounds for a chance to head to Nashville, Tn., for the 2014 Final Four.
Louisville enters the tournament ranked No. 8 in the NCAA's official RPI standings with four total losses, all to top 10 RPI teams (three to RPI No. 2 UConn and one to RPI No. 10 Kentucky).
SELECTION SHOW PARTY
Louisville hosted a Selection Show party Monday night at the Yum! Center with a couple thousand fans in attendance. The Selection Show was shown on the scoreboard at the arena, and fans were treated to $2 green beers for St. Patrick's Day, pictures at the photo booth, autographs from team members and inflatables for children to play on.
HOME SWEET HOME
As long as the Cardinals make it through the first two rounds of the tournament, they will return home to the KFC Yum! Center for the Regional semifinals and finals March 30 and April 1.
The first game on March 30 (Sunday) is scheduled to start at noon, and the second matchup of the day is slated to begin at 2:30 p.m. The winners of each game advance to Tuesday's 7 p.m. contest.
Lower level all-session passes are $20 apiece, midcourt club level all-session passes are $40, and group (10 or more) all-session passes are $15.
