Pluchino reviews Louisville visit

Winter Garden, Fla. -- CardinalSports.com caught up with Christian Pluchino briefly following his junior day visit in February but got the chance to speak with him face-to-face at the Rivals Camp Series stop at West Orange High School in Winter Garden, Florida on February 27th.

The three-star outside linebacker plays for IMG Academy, who has a boatload of division one prospects, but he is originally from New Jersey.

His lone offer comes from Louisville, and he enjoyed his time in the 502.

"I really liked Louisville, said Pluchino. "I really liked the meetings and stuff. I liked going around campus. I liked the area and the atmosphere."

Louisville defensive coordinator Todd Grantham and linebackers coach Tony Grantham were in his ear for most of the trip.

"I spent my time primarily with both coach Granthams," Pluchino said. "I spoke a lot with both of them. They like my versatility."

Pluchino admits that he thought about committing to Louisville while on his visit.

"I'm always thinking about it, but right now, I'm not sure," he said.

Northwestern and Purdue are also interested in Pluchino. He's taken two prior visits to Northwestern.
