Louisville football held its 2014 Spring Game Friday night at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium. With nearly 70 points scored, Bobby Petrino's first Spring Game was a far cry from Charlie Strong's typical defense-first games.

27,500 - That's how many fans attended the 2014 Spring Game Friday night. The threat of rain may have kept a few fans away, but the rain stayed away and more fans kept coming in throughout the first quarter.
44 - The Red Team (starters) racked up 33 first downs in the four-quarter scrimmage. The White Team totaled 11 first downs.
542 - Sophomore quarterback Will Gardner was phenomenal Friday night, going 32 of 37 for 542 yards and four touchdowns. He had an interception, but was as sharp as coches had hoped he would be. He hit his first seven passes.
1 - Louisville's first-team defense held the second-team offense to just 1 of 9 on third down conversions. The White Team punted five times for 229 yards.
699 - Louisville's first team offense racked up 699 yards and scored 56 points. The first team offense was 6 of 7 on red zone scoring and 4 of 6 on third down conversions.
10.9 - Louisville's first team offense ran 64 plays, averaging 10.9 yards per play.
7 - Gardner found seven different receivers including four receivers who caught five or more passes. Senior DeVante Parker finished with 10 catches for 109 yards, senior tight end Gerald Christian had eight catches for 126 yards and two touchdowns, senior Eli Rogers had six catches for 109 yards and a touchdown and sophomore James Quick had five catches for 152 yards and a touchdown.
62 - Quick's touchdown came on the third play of the game. It was a 62 yard pass from Gardner.
3 - Senior transfer Michael Dyer played for both teams during the scrimmage, finishing with 14 carries for 150 yards and three touchdowns.
