Last season, the Cardinals used a strong second half to down the Bearcats 38-24 in Papa John's Cardinal Stadium on October 14, 2000. In 1999, a late interception return for a score by U of L iced a hard-fought 23-13 for the Cardinals on November 6, 1999 in Cincinnati.
