"I got a call from Coach (Todd) Grantham and he told me how he would've offered me at Georgia if he would've seen me. He told me he wanted to offer me a scholarship. I thought it was awesome. My dream growing up was to go to a big school, and I was speechless after I got the offer."
His future position coach will be Terrell Buckley, who gave him an in home visit on Monday.
"It was a good visit. I really like him because I can relate to him. We have kind of the same life story. He was telling me how Louisville has one of the criminal justices programs. I want to do criminal justice. He was just telling me about how Louisville was a good program and great facilities. I just can't wait to visit so I can see it with my own eyes."
Jones will officially visit Louisville on January 24th.
