Louisville football recruiting: 2023 receiver and tight end hot board

Louisville has ten receivers on its roster. Chris Bell, Chance Marrow, Maurice Turner, and DeVaughn Mortimer. Ahmari Huggins Bruce is the lone true sophomore returnee. Braden Smith, Dee Wiggins, and Tyler Hudson are juniors. Tyler Harrell is a redshirt Junior, and Josh Johnson is on his fifth year as an eligible graduate student.

Louisville will try to procure at least two receivers in this class but don't be surprised if they take three or four.

At tight end, Marshon Ford is back as a redshirt-junior. Duane Martin returns as a sophomore and Dez Melton returns as a redshirt-sophomore. Other tight ends on the roster are redshirt freshmen Christian Pedersen and Vic Mullen. Josh Lifson, Isaac Martin, and Blake Nelson are three walk on tight ends who may see the field in 2022. This will be Isaac Martin's last season. Lifson will be a sophomore and Nelson will be a redshirt-freshman.

Scott Satterfield's offense can put three tight ends on the field sometimes they truly need nine tight ends if they want a true three deep at the position. They have eight on the roster so they will take at least one in this class.

Here's a look at a group of offered 2023 high school receivers and tight ends who are legitimately considering Louisville as well as the newest group of prospects who have received offers since January.
