Louisville Vice President for Athletics Tom Jurich and lead fundraiser Mark Jurich provided a very positive outlook for UofL's football stadium expansion.

The Juriches explained that the University's Cardinal Athletic Fund has already secured $20 million in pledges for seats and tickets toward the project including all 12 field-level suites essentially being accounted for.

The project was announced just a few months ago, but interest has been so high in the future premium seat locations that the University is considering moving forward quicker than previously thought.

Tom Jurich said he's checking with the developers to see if the North end expansion could possibly be completed by the 2018 season instead of 2019 or 2020 as previously thought.
