Louisvilles game at Temple postponed

Louisville has been waiting eight days for a basketball game, but the Cardinals will have to wait one more day. Due to "hazardous weather conditions," tonight's University of Louisville men's basketball game at Temple has been postponed.
From Louisville's press release Thursday morning: "The game has been rescheduled for Friday evening, February 14 at the Liacouras Center. The time will be determined later today. No further information is available at this time."

In an ironic twist, the game that Temple had been promoting to fans as a "White Out!" for weeks was officially cancelled due to too much snow. Temple officials made the call Thursday morning.
"Ticket holders that can no longer attend the game due to the date change will be able to exchange their tickets for one of the Owls' final three home games of the season (UConn - 2/20 @ 9 p.m., Houston - 3/1 @ 9 p.m. or UCF - 3/4 @ 6:30 p.m.)," the Temple Athletic Department release said. "Exchanges can take place in person at the Liacouras Center Box Office beginning Monday, February 17."
Louisville flew to the Philadelphia area Wednesday night after practicing at Louisville and Rick Pitino's pregame press conference. Now the Cardinals will likely stay two nights in Philadelphia before coming home.
Temple is 6-16 this season and has lost 11 of its last 12 games. The Owls only win came Jan. 29 in a game against fellow AAC bottom-dweller Rutgers.
