Louisville's 2025 class is still in the early stages, but two members of the class became four-star prospects after impressive camp seasons.

This week, Rivals released their new 2025 rankings, which saw Louisville commits Jake Cook and Mason Mims make a big jump.

Westerville (OH) offensive guard Jake Cook leaped into the Rivals250, and is now No. 201 overall in the class.

"Jake Cook ran away with Offensive Line MVP honors at the Rivals Camp Series stop in Indianapolis earlier this month and the Louisville commitment now checks in as a top-10 guard projection."

"The last time I saw Louisville offensive line commit Jake Cook it was in Ohio at an event he won MVP at. Cook continued his great offseason by winning offensive line MVP at RCS Indy. Cook gets a lot of credit for improving his body and technical skills this offseason. He looks great and is moving very well off the line. He was a brick wall again during one-on-ones against good competition."

The signal caller of the class, Oxford (AL), product Mason Mims, also showcased his talent throughout the spring.

"Another who has turned heads is the Louisville commitment. Mims has long held intrigue as a big, athletic and fluid passer, but he has seemingly taken the next step with his mechanics and consistency this offseason, working like a mature player on the verge of turning more heads as he physically fills out. Mims challenged No. 1 recruit Julian Lewis for positional MVP honors at the Atlanta RCS stop, rarely easy but especially impressive on a cold and wet day in the Peach State.

This Cardinal commitment and even the initial evaluation by Jeff Brohm's staff is aging quite well some six months later. If the rise continues, Mims looks like a strong candidate to become just the second Rivals four-star passer to sign with the program over the last eight cycles (Pierce Clarkson). Other colleges have noticed the rise of the rising-senior, too, as other ACC programs as well as in-state Auburn have inquired more of late."

The two will be back on Louisville's campus the weekend of June 7th.
