Louisville has been searching for a running back in the 2022 class, and on Monday afternoon Scott Satterfield and company got their guy.
Three-star Douglas (Ga.) Coffee High School product Maurice Turner picked Louisville over offers from UCF, Tennessee, Cincinnati, and a host of others.
Turner joins Khalib Johnson, Popeye Williams, Chance Morrow, Izaiah Reed, Zavion Thomas, and Max Cabana in Louisville’s 2022 class.
Turner took visits to Louisville, UCF, and Georgia Southern over the summer.
Turner brings a ton of speed to the Louisville backfield, something the staff had been looking for.
A home-run hitting threat continues to be what Louisville prefers out of their backs, and Turner is the latest example.
