After collecting early offers from home-state teams North Carolina and NC State, Stewart chose Louisville after visiting campus for camp. His older brother, Austin, plays free safety for the Texas Tech Red Raiders, but Isaac is more of a linebacker. Most colleges, including Louisville, saw him as a middle linebacker.
"They really like the way I attack. I like to hit people, point blank, so I really just want to put my body in there and wreck shop," Stewart said.
Stewart on Louisville: "You know how you get to a place and it just feels like home? That's how it was with me. I liked everything I saw, and I like the way they treat their players."
