Top QB recruit out for the season

Lexington Catholic quarterback Kyle Bolin received bad news Monday. The state's top quarterback and future Louisville Cardinal will miss the rest of the season with a torn ACL.
Bolin left Lexington Catholic's 24-21 win over Boyle County in the first half Friday night, and didn't return. He underwent testing Monday morning which confirmed the tear.

Bolin tweeted out the news Monday: "Unfortunately my left ACL is torn. I will work my ass off from here on out & come back stronger/faster than ever! Thank you for the support!"
The future Cardinal led Catholic to a 6-1 (2-0 district) record. The Knights have won five games in a row. They beat Boyle County Friday night despite losing Bolin, linebacker Josh Messmer and receiver Sam Letton to injuries in the first half.
"Not everything comes easy," Bolin tweeted. "Sometimes you have to endure pain and hardwork to get to where you wanna go. I'm excited for this challenge!!!"
Bolin is expected to sign with Louisville in February as the Cardinals' lone quarterback recruit in the class of 2013.
"All I have to do is stay Strong.... CARDINAL STRONG!! It's in my blood," Bolin tweeted.
