Onuaku makes his pick

After narrowing his choices to Georgetown, Miami and Louisville, 6-foot-10 big man Chinanu Onuaku made his pick Friday afternoon.
The Riverdale (Md.) Baptist senior forward/center announced the University of Louisville as his pick just after 3:40 p.m. on Comcast sports.

Prior to making his pick, Riverdale Baptist coach Lou Wilson said of Louisville, "From our conversations, it seems he feels like he'll have an opportunity to play at Louisville, get a good education and be on a winning team. He seemed to enjoy being around the coaches and players down there for his visit."
Onuaku averaged 8.2 points and 10 rebounds last season, and he was one of the top rising big men this summer.
Onuaku is Louisville's second big man commitment for the class of 2014. The Cardinals landed Jaylen Johnson last month. UofL also has a commitment from Shaqquan Aaron, a 6-foot-7 forward, but he is more of a perimeter player.
The Cardinals enter the 2013-14 season with the possibility of losing one or two big men to the NBA Draft. Both Montrezl Harrell and Chane Behanan have been listed on a draft board, and UofL is expecting to have to replace one or both after this season.
