The Salt Lake City Bees, the AAA affiliate for the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, invited to Mitchell to throw out the first pitch at today's game vs. the Reno Aces.

Turns out, a pair of former Cardinals will be there and one of them, former Louisville pitcher Cody Ege has already called dibs on catching Mitchell's first pitch.

Ege, and fellow Louisville alum Matt Koch, helped the Cardinals become one of the winningest programs of the last decade. Koch is now with the Reno Aces, the Arizona Damondbacks' AAA affiliate.
