Louisville has enjoyed unprecedented recruiting momentum over the past five days. They've acquired a cornerback from the transfer portal, two safeties from the 2022 class have announced they will sign with Louisville on February 2nd, and four 2023 prospects have committed since Friday. In fact, Louisville sits at the number eight spot in the national rankings for the 2023 class.

A few uncommitted prospect have been very responsive on social media to Louisville's hot streak on the recruiting trail, but none more so than 2023 Rivals100 four-star offensive guard Madden Sanker from Georgia. The six-foot-four, 300-pound lineman's frequent interaction with Louisville commits prompted CardinalSports to reach out to him for comment on where Louisville stands in his recruitment.

"I think they are a top 5 school for sure," Said Sanker.

When asked if he thinks they're one of his top five schools or if he was sure they were one of his top five schools he clarified his response.

"I'm sure," said Sanker adding, "I love the fans and the coaches. Their coaches all have great personalities and they're real. These guys are committing there because they already know who they're gonna play for. Nothing is fake with the Ville."

Of the guys committing to the Ville, Sanker interacts with 2023 four-star quarterback commit Pierce Clarkson the most.

"Me and him (Clarkson) have been in contact for about 4 months just talking about college," said Sanker.

It appears Clarkson's approach to bringing in help on the frontline has been effective because the four-star guard plans to visit this March. Sanker can't visit until March because the NCAA dead period went into effect on January 31st and ends February 28th. Other schools high on Sanker's list are Georgia, Miami, and North Carolina according to UGASports' Jed May.
