University of Louisville officials are working diligently to raise funds for groundbreaking on a new soccer stadium on Floyd Street. The University released a digital animation of what the stadium will look like once it is complete.
Louisville men's soccer has been one of the most successful programs in the country the last five seasons. The program was the NCAA runner-up in 2010 and has made three trips to the NCAA Elite Eight in the last three seasons.
The Cardinals have had seven players taken in the first two rounds of the Major League Soccer SuperDraft the last two years including this year's No. 1 overall pick, Andrew Farrell.
